AMC 2010 - Alberta Magazines Showcase Deadline

Creativity, function and form need to be celebrated. So shine like the glossy pages your magazines are printed on and show off your best works at the Alberta Magazines Showcase for AMPA members. Categories are: Best Cover, Best Feature Layout and Best Editorial Short. Entry form here. Deadline for entries is Monday March 5th, 2010.

This moderated panel will discuss the blurring line between still photography and video, the trends and effects of microstock and stock vs commissioned photography and how technology affects photo buyers, end users and photographers. Volunteer of the Year Nominations

Does your magazine have passionate, dedicated, and just plain amazing volunteers? Give them the recognition they deserve and nominate them as AMPA’s Volunteer of the Year. The winner will be honoured at the National Volunteer Reception Award held annually at MagNet, Magazines Canada’s June conference in Toronto. Deadline for nominations is April 5, 2010. AMPA will be sending out the nomination form shortly--keep your eyes peeled.
