Alberta Arts Days 2011

September 30 - October 2

Alberta Arts Days is an annual celebration of our culture, heritage, artistic diversity and provincial pride.

The Government of Alberta is providing support for events (September 30 to October 2) to 69 groups designated as official Alberta Arts Days 2011 Celebration Sites. One of the five feature celebration sites is the Creative Airdrie Society, formed in 2010 by local business leaders including airdrielife publisher Sherry Shaw-Froggatt.

So how is the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association celebrating Alberta Arts Days? Look for displays featuring Alberta cultural media--books, magazines, music and film--at your local library. Many AMPA magazine members will be featured at 305 displays throughout our province, so please stop at your favourite library and discover a new local publication!
