Read Alberta Magazines Month, also known as RAMM, is a promotions, awareness and media relations blitz that takes place each October. Since 2004, RAMM has worked to raise awareness for Alberta magazines among the general public, and to educate readers on the quality, quantity and variety of publications produced here in the province. In the past,

RAMM has held industry panel discussions, literary readings and other special events; it has been promoted in newspaper ads and inserts and featured in television spots. In 2006, RAMM launched its first joint subscription effort for AMPA member magazines, and will expand this initiative in the future.
